How did u start making orbit 5? would you have any tips for beginners making their own visual novel?
I started making orbit 5 instead of studying for my final exams in high school lmfao. Do not do what I did your studies are important
Hmmm.... the reason i started making orbit 5 for real was that I have something i really want to say/express. Whether it's expressing your experiences, critiquing an aspect of society or just for fun, i think themes and ideas are the most important part of a story to me.
Have an idea for the entire story before you start making it. Historically winging it has not worked for me, finish your script first so even if you hit a low point creatively you can still do the mechanical stuff like drawing and code.
Also learn how to use layeredimages for sprites it will save 20 billion years of time and space
And you can separate most things by line if they're in brackets if your character thing is getting too full just add a paragraph break
Take your time, you'll need it. Do a little bit per day, a sentence is fine. Vns are a big ass project
# And add notes to your code PLEASE you will forget what the lines mean
Keep in mind i havent finished my visual novel though i'll get back to you and see if this holds up when I'm done
I’m never going to financially recover from this
