Zuo Ye,, the adorable baby of the oaca family!!

The two of you had met in school, where you were partnered up for a project

You both had really big fat crushes on each other!! But you were too shy to say anything so there were lots of awkward conversations where you skirted around the topic

Until eventually he couldn’t take it anymore and asked you out

Which you ofc said yes to!!

You always admired how he worked so hard to follow his dreams despite the fact that he was literally the same age as you

There he was, already a trainee preparing to debut under a fairly large company... and you were still undecided on what you wanted to do in life struggling through math classes

Safe to say, you couldn’t believe that he actually liked you back!

It started off on a bit of an awkward note, since you were both really young and didn’t have much experience with relationships

But you two got the hang of it pretty quickly lmao

You guys mostly hung out at the oaca dorms, where you were introduced to the insanity that was your boyfriend’s second family

Mubo was a bit of an overprotective father at first, but he calmed down after grilling you mercilessly and realising that you had no bad intentions

Especially after he found out that you were also a cello player for the school orchestra

Then you two really started to hit it off, exchanging tips and talking about different pieces of music that you both knew how to play

Qin Fen would overdramatically complain to Zuo Ye that you were stealing his man from him

Which your boyfriend would burst into laughter at before dragging you away from the instrument to cuddle on the couch

A common pastime of yours ^^

You would often just lie in Zuo Ye’s embrace, basking in the love that he felt for you while watching some movie

++ You were a complete sucker for when he would run his fingers through your hair

He’s really big on forehead kisses!!

You’re cuddling? He’ll press a kiss to the top of your head

He passes you in the hallways at school? There’s a pair of lips gently mouthing at your hairline

The pair of you always eat lunch together and spend your free periods studying in some nook with each other

It was like your special “place”

Until you realise that you had forgotten your cello at the dorms and rushing there over break so you could get it back before orchestra practice

Your boyfriend thankfully found it endearing though :)) despite wanting to spend more time with you

Since he was off practicing for most of the day, the only time that he could really see you was at school

(as sad as that was)

Until you had the brilliant idea to tag along to one of his practices!

Which turned out to be really unproductive;;; since he would get caught up in a conversation with you or something and completely forget that he was supposed to be practicing in the first place

...oops?

So you two decided that it maybe wasn’t the best idea, and settled for hanging out at school or when he was free to obsess over xukun’s fancams together ✨
