best friend!!!
So I feel like these guys have known each other ever since Andrea first came to the island, yeah? I feel like they were definitely friends just b/c of their association w/ Andrea for awhile b/f becoming best friends in their own right. I can see where they may have gotten off on the wrong foot at first b/c Jason def likes to keep most people at an arm’s length, especially when he’s just meeting you and he can def come off as a sarcastic asshole sometimes but it is just to cover up the fact that he cares a lot <3
Anyway, at this point though, I feel like they’ve probably been close for awhile now, since Andrea’s known Jason for 18 years (jason feels v old do not bring up how old emily is!!!!). Although, Jason has developed feelings for Chris’s ex wife and Chris has feelings for Jason’s surrogate wife so that does make things a little complicated haha.
