Today is technically Quercus and Oak’s birthdays (cause they’re both the same person).

So here! Please see this drawing of Oak I made about a week ago-

I have NOT colored with colored pencils in YEARS. I tried to shade and stuff and it turned out ok.

Anyways happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it!

I need to make references of Drop, Frigid, and Glitcher so I can share them!

FINALLY IM POSTING ABOUT THEM :D

I’ll post about my other two AUs at some point in the future.

These two Sanses are from my first AU Oaktale which was created back in (I think) mid 2021 and has changed quite a bit from when I first made it.

I’m ok with people shipping Oak and Quercus with others AS LONG as it’s NOT with minor (child) characters AND/OR NSFW.

So I’ll give some info about Oak and Quercus!

OAK

Height - 4’11

Age - 26

Pronouns - He/Him

Birthday - March 1st

HP - 5

Attacks/abilities - Original Sans’ moves plus abilities from The Great Oak

- Oak is an out!code, but remains in his AU unless he’s needed.

- He’s able to sense when there has been a RESET after a genocide run that wasn’t planned in the timeline in any AU. He’ll do his best to help the ones that know about the RESETS recover from this experience.

- He knows which Sanses know about the RESETS due to his father (Oaktale Gaster) having years of info about various AUs.

- Oak has known about the AUs since he was a child.

- He used to have 150 HP, but an incident in Gaster’s lab caused his HP to permanently lower to 5

- He has a leaf from The Great Oak embedded in his soul

- To explain, The Great Oak is a partially sentient being that has leaves that can grant someone a long life. In addition, it also gives the ability to help nature thrive which takes energy from the one using the ability. You can only get a leaf if the tree deems you worthy. Unlike other trees, the tree naturally produces sap that can cure sickness and injuries to a certain extent.

- Oak knows Drop, Frigid, and Glitcher (my other AU characters)

QUERCUS

Height - 4’11

Age - 26

Pronouns - He/Him

Birthday - March 1st

HP - 5

- Quercus is a part of Oak that was created after the genocide timeline RESET.

- Quercus IS Oak, just a darker part of him.

- He’s super good at manipulating whoever is the main character (the player, Frisk, etc.) to the point that they discover what they did, it’s too late and are forced to RESET.

- He manipulates the main character in order to create genocide timelines within the AU. He does this because he has Oak’s memories of the genocide timeline (since they’re the same person) Oak experienced before the player RESET.

- His soul is only a fragment of Oak’s. Because of this he has The Great Oak’s abilities, but instead of helping nature thrive, he causes it to wither.
