Giuseppe Carli is recognised as one of Venice’s foremost Remèri – an artisan elite group of Venetian fórcoli carvers. A fórcola is an oarlock used on the gondolas of Venice, whose curved surfaces provide different resting points for the boat’s oar.

OAR LOCK OUT STOUT by Excelsior Brewing Co.

I don’t drink as many stouts, but this one was very solid overall. Nice warm and roasty mouthfeel with bitter chocolate and oat taste.
