Pink eyes blink in surprise when he finds himself wrapped in the dorm head’s arms. Though progress has been made , it still catches him by surprise whenever affection is given to him. He’s never quite sure what to do with his arms besides replicate the action with hesitancy.

Ganyu indeed took it upon herself to complete the workload. It’s not that she disliked help or thought Kalim’s servants were incompetent.
It just didn’t feel right to have them do manual labor when they were technically guests too. Besides for an Adepti. half or not --- she could get it all done much faster.
