ADULTING

Hello world! 

I regret that I was unable to post last week due to my incredibly busy schedule (jk). Anyways, being that it is Tuesday and also my last day in the office this week, I thought I would attempt to make up for this oversight. Weeks three and four have been eventful to say the least. Week three consisted of many 1:1′s in which I gained further insight into what the hell is going on around me and week four has been similar. Today, I was given a few tasks, which have me feeling very excited to be #productive and #independent like the adult I should probably be by this point in my life.......... As far as life away from the cube, these past few weeks have been highlighted by fun pride-month-themed activities put on by Prism, the LGBTQ+ group at Oath. So far we have had a happy hour (always a fan favorite) and a t-shirt tie-dying event (my hands are currently blue and purple, sos). As far as intern drama, there still is not much to report (I know. Disappointing). I may have to stir up some drama to keep everyone on their toes....... As far as topics in which I have been gaining #wisdom, I have a pending project involving updating the ACT Showcase, hunting for old sales materials that are not Oath branded yet (the horrors), and gathering all of the tools the ACT team needs to brand itself into one place for ease of access. Austin also recruited me to create a new Street page for the entire Oath Omaha office which is pretty exciting if I do not say so myself.

Whirlwind

Hello adoring fans, 

I know it has been a hot second since my last update. As the old people are always saying “the summer is just flying by”! I have been busy with many tasks that have me on my toes. Whether it is helping Jenna and Lindsay with with Sales Engineer tasks to developing a new Street page for the Omaha office, I am always learning new ways of getting things done. I have also enjoyed collaborating with the ACT team across the country and beyond. 

As far as the ~intern lifestyle~ goes, things have been pretty good. We recently planned an outing for drinks and tacos as Mula, a very good restaurant that millennials like to drink tequila at. We have also had a bit of intern drama; finally. We had a minor misunderstanding around the budget for out tequila adventure that caused some of the interns to begin attempting to calculate exactly how many tacos we would have. As those who know me are aware of, I get stressed when others are stressed about things that are not real problems. Luckily, on this season of the Real Interns of Oath Omaha, we were able to bring clarity to our budget woes and actually ended up having quiet a bit of cash to spare. Stay tuned to see where we will adventure next! 

Again, I greatly apologize for my hiatus from Tumblr and will work hard to keep you, my adoring fans, up to date on my adventures.
