Just so you know, I don't ship Obikin cuz a former teacher myself blah blah but I kinda get what others see in it. I'd love to see Ewan and Hayden do something together in something else. Ewan mentioned that he has been sent many Obikin fan arts??? And now I saw that gif of them kissing in the movie premier or set??? like, please. I dunno where I am going with this. Can they do something together!! Have you seen it?

listen, the only reason i ship it is because i saw that kiss at a very impressionable age.

well, maybe not the only reason, but it was the moment that made go ah. interesting.

and tbh, i don't know when we've all decided that the word 'ship' means that we want them to get together/kiss/fuck. i feel like shipping first and foremost meant being very much into whatever they had going on, be it shared history or vibes or friendship or love. for me, it always meant being very much into whatever relationship they had, and yeah that also sometimes meant wanting them to get together/kiss/fuck. but not always. sometimes it just meant obsessing over them and their potential.

and that's how i treat obikin tbh. there is no denying that there is something there that needs to be explored, hell, that is the reason why we are getting this series (that and the mouse making profit off of something that has already proven itself to be a success), but i am unsure of what exactly do i want to see there.

but also yeah, i get what you mean when you say seeing them together in something else would be fantastic, but most of all i am so happy we got to see hayden again, i cannot find words to express my joy, really.
