Hello, Mama, Hello Papa, Greetings From Obamaville

President Herbert Hoover was held responsible for the Great Depression by many of the homeless victims, “Hooverville” became a popular derisive term for shanty towns that popped up all over the country during the Great Depression.

Ironically,  the term was coined by Charles Michelson, publicity chief of the Democratic National Committee . (Wikipedia) It seems both fitting and ironic, then, that today’s shanty towns are being called “Obamavilles,” thanks to his economic incompetence and inability to correct the economic depression his inept policies created.
