I've found TMZ to be pretty accurate in this area of their coverage. Obviously a second confirming is necessary but I don't remember the last time they got it wrong on a death. (This is when you then link to 37 error-ridden TMZ death notices.)

During the week I usually come upon several obituaries that, for whatever reason, are not featured on my site. So I've decided to begin "Oh!-bituaries" which will link you to these extra obits. So enjoy the first week's selections:

Hey, it's that partying dead guy again! He's here to add that morbid touch to the celebration of having 60,000 followers...which is more than people who live in my village of residence, so that's cool.
Thanks to all of my followers whether human or bot*. Obit of the Day is the most popular obituary site on Tumblr because of you. ("Aren't you the only obituary site on Tumblr?" "Shut. Up.")

I don't know the circumstances of the foreclosure and I won't attempt to figure out Lochte's endorsement deal money and why he can't pay off a home. But why should an Olympic athlete's family get better foreclosure treatment than anyone else? This isn't how "we treat an Olympic champion." This is how banks treat folks who don't pay their mortgage (Id prefer restructuring, personally). I won't feel EXTRA sympathy for Lochte's family because he won medals.
» SFB says: Fair point. To emphasize (not for you, but for other people), that was intended as a cultural comment, not a literal one criticizing the U.S. government. About the Rosen-Romney debate: As a stay-at-home parent with four kids (fine, homemaker) I wasn't insulted with Rosen's comment. Yes, I'm a dad but ask any parent who stays home and takes on a job, they never say they are taking a second job. They say they are "getting a job" or "going BACK to work." Yes parenting and taking care of a home is work, sure but it is not the same as having (having, not wanting) to work 9-5 and then coming home and taking care of kids. It's just not.
