Thoughts about an obsessive obito have resurfaced, and now I feel sick about how he'd consider a break up as a three day pause and come back at your door with dinner in hand asking if you'd eaten yet 🥲

I bet Obito got super pissed when he saw that his name was on a memorial plaque when he sneaked into Konoha to unleash the kyubi. Because that clearly means that no one went back for his body, he was left behind. 

There wasn’t a recovery unit or investigation. If there had been one, they’d definitely would have noticed something strange when nothing would turn up from the rubble. Considering he is an Uchiha maybe Konoha would have sent a squad until his body was retrieved (or at least Danzo’s ROOT would have been all over this) so that no other villages could study the Uchiha bloodline directly (throwback to Land of Waves’ arc with Haku retrieving Zabuza’s “corpse” to keep Kiri secrets in Kiri).

Konoha left one of theirs behind; and for *someone* those who do that are worse than trash, right?
