3t2 Face Painting Booth

This is converted from TS3 seasons! And it’s FUNCTIONAL!

Sims enter the booth and you’ll get the Change Appearance dialogue box.

Select their new look and voila!

Some technical info: The mesh and animations were cloned from HugeLunatic’s clothing tent. I modded the BHAVs so instead of changing clothes, it changes your face!

This is my first truly modded object! I’m very proud of how I’ve managed to muddle through, but it’s sort of a frankenstein job so please let me know if you have any issues with it!

I’d eventually like to add some more advanced functionality to it, such as making it charge money on community lots and owned business lots, and modifying the pop-up so that only the full face menu comes up (I’m not sure if the second one is possible, even). If anyone has any recs for TS2 modders who are still active and open to answering questions, please comment their names! I miss Midge :’-(

More wall art!

This time I'm deviating from my "only use my own art on recolors"-plan, as these pieces all originate from Pixabay, which is a wonderful site full of copyright free images!

I made some affordable abstract art for your sims!  25 recolors of the base game painting “ValueSpite Funny Bunny”, which costs just §40.

First, I messed around with watercolors IRL: just splashed some color here and there & painted some odd shapes and whatnot. The next step was to scan the results and play with their colors in Photoshop. These were a lot of fun to make~

One can never have too many rugs to choose from, if you ask me..! And stripes never go out of style :D

And so, here are some very striped rugs for your sims: 31 in total. These are Maxis recolors, and their base is the Sung-Gyu Sunburst Oriental Rug (Nightlife EP required). 

Räsy: with these I tried to emulate the "räsymatto" style of rugs (which I love dearly and my apartment is full of them). I'm not sure what to call them in english, so that’s why I ended up using finnish instead, haha. They look like this IRL (and this particular rug inspired me with its colors):

Now, my rugs don’t look exactly like that, but for a first attempt at painting rug textures from scratch.. I think they turned out pretty nice! :)

Then there’s the smooth rugs. They don’t have those extra little details on ‘em, just a fuzzy texture. They still have the fringes on the edges, tho! :)

I haven’t created any cc in a long time, but I’m trying to get back into it now.  What can you expect from me? Hmm.. Mostly recolors of paintings and rugs, I think. :D Or.. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll get WILD and try my hand at recoloring/building something more challenging....!

Anyway, these are recolors of a Maxis object: “The Lady On Red”-painting. 1-10 are on a dark background, 11-20 are on a light background.

I have a personal rule for creating cc: not using anyone else’s art.. So I’ll be relying on stuff I can create on my own. 

These were actually made using my own artwork as bases and then running the pointillize filter on them. Might seem silly to “deform” my art like this, but this is just something I wanted to experiment with :) I’ll use my art on other cc in the future.
