JavaScript - Know thy Object Type

In the absence of any getClass() counterpart in JavaScript, know your JS object's class like so -

>>> s = 'test string'

"test string"

>>> typeof(s)

"object"

>>> Object.prototype.toString.call(s)

"[object String]"
