objectified title meanings part 7 (ep. 105)

I will be talking about my personal interpretation of what the title means as well as my thoughts

Objectified 105 spoilers ahead

So, for my interpretation of what the title of objectified episode 105 (Downer) could mean, I searched up the definitions of downer. The first one is related to drugs that decrease mental and/or physical function, the opposite of an upper. An example of a downer is a tranquilizer. The lack if energy in painkiller could count and dcould seem likely.

Another definition says that a downer is a depressing or dispiriting event. This is more likely the case as the danger fossil and painkiller were put in was the downer in the situation. Also both characters looked obviously traumatized after the lights were turned back on and we all should know trauma can cause depression.

Now for my thoughts,

The episode was kinds good, it shows us what happened after the last time we get to see both Painkiller and Fossil. It was also kinda scary too, imagine seeing the assimilated object the two had to go up against in your hallway.

This is only two images I know, but that's all I wanted to screen shot. We can see that the assimilated object has the eye of someone with delirium (Ex. Razor, Brandy). This is essentially what someone with delirium could look like assimilated. It's likely that while being effected by the delirium, the object tried fighing back against an assimilated object, likely to protect their baby, and got assimilated themself while also repeating their own or someone else's voice.

Or it could just be that an assimilated object that just so happened to have delirium and repeated the voice of a mother wanting her kid back. Of course, this is just my interpretation.

Im so confused and weirded out tbh. Is the assimilated object Painkiller's dead mom? And why is Painkiller having hallucinations of assimilated Carrot and not their normal form? I hope Fossil takes a break bc holy macaroni they look like she's going to die from hyperventilating
