Yes. In chapter two when Chamber breaks into Reader's apartment? That wasn't originally planned, it just happened - I was pulled along by the inertia of following Chamber's thought process, and boom, here we are!

🍆 What scene do you think was the hottest? What scene do you think your readers thought was the hottest? Are they the same?

I think the hottest was the dream sequence where Chamber is in the middle of beating Reader's significant other to death and he wakes up with a hard-on. My follow-up to that would be when he's dropping Reader off after their first dinner together, he opens his car door and takes Reader's hand and immediately pops off with:

"[...] wants to squeeze your hand in his, wants to feel the bones grind together until you're whimpering and looking up at him with eyes wide and teary and -"

I think the obvious answer as to what y'all find hot would be his masturbation scene LMAO

🧭 What was the key choice or decision you had to make for this story? If you had chosen differently, what would the story have turned into?

The inclusion of the mystery surrounding Reader owning the lost/stolen Chez Tortoni. I think it escalates the stakes in the story, and adds a slyness to the Reader character that I think the story otherwise would've lacked. Without it, it would've been much more difficult for Chamber to be willing to wade into her world and her life for more than a brief moment and he would only do so until he got what he wanted, and then dipped.

Now he has a puzzle to solve, a mystery to crack, and someone who belies their appearance, just like him. So I think there's that parallel that's also appealing to him.

Without it, the story would've been a much more straightforward dark romance. Which would've been fine and it probably would've turned out quite well, but I think it's a much more interesting story now that there's more to it than just a 'okay and when does the romance get resolved and when will they finally have sex?'.
