Bedroom Eyes
The look is disconcerting. There is a strange woman waiting for him in his bedroom when he gets home, lying in the bed that he shares with his wife as if there was nothing wrong with that.

“Hear anything interesting?” Mirth lit his words as he ran his fingers through Indra’s hair, her head resting on his chest over his heart. It beat a slow and soothing rhythm.

Minato would hum as he happily brushed Indra’s hair. The two were sitting on their bed, with the black-haired woman seated in between his legs.

Minato had gone out for a late night stroll, wanting and needing to enjoy the fresh night air before winter crept up and snatched it away once more. As he walked down the road, he paused as he spotted a figure sitting in the park. A very familiar figure at that.
“Indra??” He asked as he approached. Indeed, there she was.

Minato wants to tell Indra he senses her chakra in two places…one of them in a very unexpected place…but he doesn’t.
Because he has no idea how she’d react.
And he has no idea what it means.
Plus, he figures she will hopefully sense it herself soon.
That and he wants to give Fugaku’s youngest son a chance to grow up and have some sense of a normal life before plunging him into whatever the hell this was.

Minato stilled and blinked widely before he began to turn red in a rapid manner. He soon resembled a tomato and you could all but see the steam bursting out of his ears. His eyes rolled back before he fainted, a deep blush staining his cheeks.
Okay maybe he hadn’t expected that.
