As soon as she got there, she jumped onto it. “Go go go!” As soon as the two were taking off into the ocean, Iris would pull her communicator out and throw it onto the floor. “Fucking hell, you never told me I had to go up against a giant floating fucking head and Hazmat Suit wearing weirdos.”

A royal family assassinated, set ablaze in front of their court. Jason dragged through the streets, a traitor. And Madea had flown away, believed to be nothing more than a sorcerer by the humans. He’d invited Sersi to the party to end all parties. A city burning as citizens rioted, the army turning on itself. All Madea’s doing. Chaos. And through it, something new would eventually rise. Something stronger.

"Uh...well, I can't see why she would be..." Bruce frowns as he casts a gaze over to where Betty was stood near the front of the ship, her large red wings hiding her from view. "But I'm...thankful for it, even if I can't understand why exactly she would chose to look like that."

"Like that" meaning why Betty would decide being a gamma mutate would ever be a better choice when she could still look human. Bruce would have loved to be human all the time, to be free of the Hulk...he frowns and sighs, raising an eyebrow over at this man. "...What makes you notice it?"

"You should see me on a full moon," she added, she could turn into a mindless beast during a full moon, and she didn't feel ashamed of that side of her.

Not like her mother Lissa had been, until she got rid of the Russoff curse. Only for one generation, lucky Nina.

"I wouldn't want any part of me in a zoo. Not if I can help it. I would rather die than become a creature in a gilded cage, and I can assure you that creature your mother made with my DNA certainly feels the same."

Her lips twitched when Carmilla enquired about monster hunters. "Oh, we are monsters in their eyes. My uncle's girlfriend got a code though. As long as we don't hurt innocent folks, we're good. Mutants aren't considered monsters, I guess? I never got into the encyclopedia Elsa has, so I have no idea. Though Monstropolis is in the former Morlock tunnels, so maybe the difference between monster and mutant is not that clean-cut."

Nina peered at her green haired companion. "I can introduce you to Elsa if you'd like. I'm sure she can enlighten you."
