The "Oh Wow" moments
The “Oh Wow” moments
As I walked up 7th Avenue, a girl passed me, talking on her phone. She was carrying a large suitcase. And she was on skates. I smiled and thought “Oh wow – how cool”.
Less than a minute later I uttered “Oh wow” again – but for vastly different reasons. Also next to me, a pedestrian stepped out into the bike lane, directly into the path of an oncoming bicyclist. The rider went one direction, his…

people are weird
falling feathers...
falling feathers make me think why they were left to fall and disappear with the passing wind? why have God made it so with a life so temporary and short? why do we with eyes that can see fail to still catch its beautiful dive while from some wing it beautifully falls like a slow falling drop of cloud from the lofty sky?
Golden rains All night wetting every leaf That lay bare beneath the sky Little feathery creatures Sleeping in moist chills Their shivers resonating In the silence That fills intermediate gaps Between musical notes Of the falling rain drops Drop by drop The puddles fill Silent conspiracy drowning This city's roots Lulling souls to a weird sleep All nocturnals strangely Sleeping so early And dead stagnance Rules afterwards The rain and this night Step into center stage Performing magic.
"Aboard"
Lands passing my eye's median Like some movie set to play On its own without the ring master The magic began itself And the intentions were none, as such Just to appear and then fade Again in the same sequence Farms, trees, little specs of somethings That passed unacknowledged Passengers all in a state of subconscious state The driver unconcerned The conductor in a state of lost interest His eyes fixed to that one point On that road ahead Which just never seemed to disappear His eyes in hypnotic rhymes Played its silent music My wandering curiosity was destined somehow To take me through this immortal moment I captured them each In my eyeball's memory flashes One by one the sepia moments lined inside I was just too eager to look for more And the racing bus gave me all that I had asked for Lots of time to lose myself To daydreaming, introspecting Dissecting the situation to pieces So that my mind's magnifying glasses Can look through the deepest truths That were so obviously spread across The landscape in motion Emotionless faces not even thinking about What it was that they were going through All waiting for their destination Unaware of the immense possibilities That hid themselves in the journey.
I know this world I have been here for fairly long To know that those who run after money Fail at life And those who run after life Fail at nothing.
