I need to keep telling myself not to be afraid. I just need to keep drawing/designing. Even if what I make is not perfect. I just need to keep waking up and not getting hung up on “other people are better, or this has been done before”. It hasn’t been done by ME. I’d do it for the sake of making something. For the thrill of setting pen to paper…

When I see the amazing things that other artists make, I look at my stuff and all I see is trash… but those artists got to where they are by trying every day. That’s all I need to do.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a psychological disorder characterised by obsessive or intrusive thoughts and compulsions or rituals meant to suppress or satiate those thoughts. These obsessions and compulsions are difficult to suppress and can significantly interfere with a person's quality of life. One OCD comorbidity is bipolar disorder. OCD often does not emerge until early adulthood. Watching compulsions emerge in oneself is both surreal and frustrating.
