A Stress headcanon—Null doesn’t get too stressed out about anything really. They usually don’t have a lot on their plate and they tend to avoid situations they know makes them uncomfortable.

Null felt some sort of kinship with House before they found out he was an actual person not just like a computer program.

Null did what House asked of them and was a very good worker. House definitely is more careful with who he trusts after Benny but Null is pretty high on that list of trustworthy.

A: Aptitude-Bartholomew Heston

1. what are your oc’s natural abilities, things they’ve been doing since young?

I think this is just normal wasteland childhood, but Bartholomew has had extensive practice with weapons, he’s particularly skilled with revolvers.

Bartholomew is also pretty good at landscape art. Staring at the mountains you start to get good at drawing it.

3. what abilities do they have that they’ve worked for?

Bartholomew has definitely worked hard on sympathy and empathy. He had a long time of fending for himself and sorta forgot how to interact like a human who isn’t selfish as shit. Bart has done through hell to learn how to act like a normal human again.

Bart has also worked very hard on learning how to dance, especially ballroom, swing and the like cause he as a special cute gal he wants to sweep off her feet.

4. what things are they bad at?

Bartholomew isn’t good at knife tricks. He would like to be buuut he has more cuts on his hands than success

5. what is their most impressive talent?

Bart’s pistol skills are the the most impressive. He definitely can draw a crowd with his pistol twirling and crack shots.

C: Comfort - Null

1. how do they sit in a chair?

Null often sits up right with proper posture, sorta left over Institue routines of prim and proper looking. They are definitely have people tell them “Ya know you can relax” a lot.

2. in what position do they sleep?

Null prefers laying on their right side, sorta cuddled in a ball

4. what is their major comfort food? why?

Null doesn’t really taste stuff unless it’s really strong. They love sweet things so cake, fancy lad cakes and such.

5. who is the best at comforting them when down?

Null is bad at expressing their emotions, but their girlfriend Poe is the best at figuring out that Null isn’t feeling well and she usually just sits tight with Null and plays with their hair.

1. how would they decorate a house if they had one under their name?

Gwen is not going to be a contender for good housekeeping she keeps it neat but there are parts and tools around, lots of photos and books, decorated it is not but it is lived in and it is home.

4. what type of clothes and accessories do they wear?

Gwen used to wear her 101 vault suit but after Trouble on the Homefront she burned it and took to wearing just jeans and a t-shirt with some armor. She joined the brotherhood and started wearing the scribe uniform and her pip boy screen got busted. When she came to the commonwealth from the capital is when she started wearing the orange flight suit, but quickly ditched that back for Jeans and T-shirt when she

2. Does your OC collect anything? What do they collect?

Null collects junk. They have a stash of scrap metal and electronics that they tinker with

Edgar picks up things camera related since he likes photography, he also just picks up weird ass shit he finds because he enjoys weird ass shit like pickled fingers

4. What kind of clothing does your OC wear?

Usually baggy clothes because they are small and nothing fits them. They also enjoy being shapeless one big baggy jackets. So cargo pants held up with rope, too big boots, too big jacket, bandana to cover their damaged eye and a hat.

Edgar is a wasteland plague doctor. He wears usually black or other dark colors, a duster, a plague doctor mask when out and about and a wide brimmed hat. (Edgar has vitiligo which he is self conscious about so that’s why he adopted the plague doctor aesthetic also cause his twin sister wore a mask and he started wearing one as solidarity with her)

10. What deadly sin would best represent your OC?

Hmmm maybe sloth for Null because they often find themselves inactive because they have no drive or feel like they have a purpose

Edgar is a tough one since I’m still feeling him out maybe gluttony ?

31. What is their most traumatic memory/experience? What is their favorite memory?

For null most traumatic experience is basically the whole time at the big empty. Being examined and taken apart out back together again by the think tank sucked, being jumped by lobotomites it’s shitty.

Nulls favorite memory is when when they fixed ED-E. When the little robot whirred to life and started beeping (and null understood!!) gosh it just brought tears to null’s eyes.

Edgar’s most traumatic memory would be losing his parents. Favorite memory, probably when he got his sister to laugh for the first time after their parents died, he knew everything was going to be okay.

35. How is your character’s imagination? Daydreaming a lot? Worried most of the time? Living in memories?

Null’s day dreaming is thinking about how to repair different things. They don’t have much for memories since they are a synth whose memory was erased, but it’s hard to be worried about that.

Edgar has a fairly good imagination, if he took the time to sit down he could sit down and write a pretty good fictional story but he probably doesn’t have the patience to write it out. He tries to stay away from bad memories, and usually he worries about his sister.

41. What does your character do when they’re angry? Why?

Null doesn’t quite realize when they are mad, they grit their teeth and go quieter than usual. When they realize they are getting angry they walk away if they can, if they can’t they just stay there and not talk.

Edgar walks away and then avoids the person or thing making him mad.

1.What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

Null could sit in a cave and watch moss grow for an indefinite amount to of time. They don’t have to eat and they don’t have to sleep either. Early on they can’t sit still but as they start to outlive the people around them it’s easier to sit and go catatonic for three years or more.

G) What trait of theirs bothers you the most?

Uuuh I don’t have answer cause I love my ocs lol they are my babies so there is nothing about Null that bothers me

Null likes being in the dry environment of the Mojave more cause while the sand gets in their metal eye it’s easier to clean than rust.

Null doesn’t really have tastebuds. They can taste really spicy or sweet things but most stuff is bland. So sometimes you can find them eating ungodly food combinations without flinching.

Null is like true neutral. They have absolutely no opinions on anything in the Mojave.
