Ripper and Robin

Finally I drew (and redesigned) my antagonists for my AU

Hmm…Who is Ripper and Robin?

Well… They are personifications of a character (which has something to do with an event or the past)..I created these two characters last year. They are the main antagonists in my AU by design (although initially they were only secondary antagonists)..They introduce themselves as "Eaters"(they may refer to themselves as "shame" or "I am you").Who they really are is unknown.Unfortunately, I cannot show the original (old) ref sheet and the full story about the so-called "Eaters" (They were not saved in my old phone.)

I'm a little surprised that this character (new cast) has the same name as my antagonist character (maybe change the name to something else?)…

I love her! I think she's a compelling antagonist with a tragic backstory.

There's something about her that's just so intriguing yet terrifying.

She's an absolute queen! I'm all for her gaslighting & manipulating Clay.

She's my type of girl! Sexy, flirtatious, bold. Love her!

I think she deserves better than what she got, I really do.

Oh my god, I hate her so much! She's manipulative, vengeful and dramatic!

Re-introducing Haelynn 🌹

A beautiful teenager who bears a striking resemblance to Hannah Baker, but exhibits a sultry appearance and a cheerful personality. Upon meeting Clay Jensen outside the courthouse, she decides to accompany him and his best friend, Libby Mason, on their mission to get justice for Hannah - but there's certainly something strange about her. Although Clay doesn't catch it, she knows his name without him saying so ... and she may know even more than she lets on...

Status: Manifestation.

Character Inspiration: Maria (Silent Hill 2).

Role: Antagonist (She is the major threat to Clay and Libby's romance).

Who or what is Haelynn?

For Clay, Haelynn is an embodiment of Hannah's flaws and the negative feelings her death aroused in him, having been born from his wish to be with her and to fulfil his idea of a perfect Hannah. She in turn sees him as a saviour of sorts, a prospective soulmate who was "meant to be" with her. It could be argued that she is a warped memory who embraces her image as the class slut, wearing provocative clothing and dying her hair blonde. She is also snippy, dismissive, possessive, emasculating and demanding.

Clay and Haelynn's relationship is an endless cycle of fighting, sex and toxic unrequited love between them, with her manipulative streak and his harsh reactions. He gradually comes to realise that she brought out the worst in him. And that's precisely what she wants, it thrills her to antagonize him.

For Libby, Haelynn is a manifestation of her sense of inferiority to Hannah because she feels she'll never live up to Clay’s idea of what a girl should be, i.e Hannah. This is why she reluctantly lets him go, having decided to let him be happy with Hannah as that's what he truly wants. So for her, Haelynn is a twisted and beautiful memory who’s perfect in Clay’s eyes. This is warped by the lethality in which her own conflict with Hannah affects her.

Their conflict is the catalyst for Haelynn's paranoia towards her because before her suicide attempt; Hannah accuses Libby of stealing Clay away from her and manipulating her, calls her a slut and cuts her off. Thus, Haelynn sees her in the same way. It could be argued that their fight, along with her tape, is another reason why Libby lets him go. She's allowing Hannah to win their battle and to get her "fairytale" ending.

Haelynn's Goals:

Punish Clay Jensen for his guilt surrounding Hannah's suicide attempt (mostly succeeded, but later failed).

Deceive and coercive Clay into having sex with her and keep him interested in her, making him live in a delusional world created from his mind (succeeded, but later failed).

Make Clay accept her as ‘his perfect Hannah' and more importantly, her own individual person (failed).

Torment Clay to the point where he indirectly throws Libby Mason away for 'her', therefore devoting himself to 'her'. Her, of course, is Hannah (succeeded).

No, but I wouldn't mind Clay getting a dose of karma for throwing Libby away.

No, I think Haelynn brings out the worst in Clay. He needs someone better.
