He is the third kid of the creator, which allows him to have unique powers. First, he doesn't die. The children of the creator whom are the most loved ones don't die whatever happens(same goes with suicide). Second, he can change the texture of the thing he is grabbing. It's because the children have at least one of the techniques of an artist. The third, which is kinda creepy, he has the ability to rip dimensions. He has claws that do those. Those damage is only cured by the creator, Hugo Lemoore(div calls them Mother), who is also my persona or the other children. The damaged parts link to a void where dark creatures live. These creatures destroyed his dimension two times. Once was when he used his claws for the first time. The other was when he used his claws to protect a girl who he really loved from the disaster.

The girl was the first person to teach him about the bright side of the world. She was brighter than the sun, had confidence and bravery stronger than any other men. But the part that Div loved was her kindness like a soft breeze in spring.

Div tried to save her when the disaster occured, but what killed her was the crevice of dimension which Div made. He couldn't do anything but looking at her divided into pieces. After the incident, Hugo restored the girl. But she didn't remember anything of Div. Div was in grief and started to go insane. No one remembers him after the reset. No one understands him. The negative thoughts and feelings of him split him in two personalities. One was himself, the old him who isn't bright but likes to joke. The other part was a insane creature covered with negative feelings who was very unstable. They change constantly by his feelings.

Because of this, Hugo made a creature to protect Div and stop him from corrupting. If the second personality controls the body, it's this creature's duty to stop him.
