Carla is a merchant sailor turned pirate, and an aspiring captain! i’m piecing together a story as we speak, but she meets my other two ocs whilst she’s staking out in Tortuga :]

Storyteller Saturday! If your ocs had to choose a favourite type of drink, what would it be? 💖

I’ll answer just for my protagonists because otherwise, this would be a giant post.

Carla would choose plain water. She doesn’t have the luxury to afford anything else, and practically, water is the best option to stay hydrated and healthy. 

Dimitri would choose coffee. Her life consists of long nights, few hours of sleep, and constant stressors, yet she has to be able to react fast and think quickly. To her, coffee isn’t just a drink, it’s an enabler.

storyteller saturday: if you had to characterize your OCs by the color of their auras, what color would they be?

Hmmmm, I don’t remember much about auras, but I’ll try my best! I’ll answer for my two MCs!I’d give Carla a dark blue because it indicates someone who can’t trust their future or who is uncertain, and Carla, given the vastly different environments she’s thrown into, doesn’t have much stability in her life.As for Dimitri, I’d say her aura would be violet. It demonstrates a visionary/creative/path blazer, and Dimitri is all of those things. She’s determined and very strong willed; she’s had her eyes set on the same goal ever since she was young, and she’s done everything she can to make it happen!

I did a super mini style challenge comparing my style to @fulmine-art and @leslielumarie! Forgive my awful handwriting, but this was fun! I used my OC Carla as a model, though i feel like i might need to get better at translating her to other styles. Maybe tomorrow I’ll do another style challenge.

I’m drawing all my characters for a nuclear apocalypse au rp that I’m doing with a friend and here’s what i have so far! First is Tavros, who while technically not an oc is so far from canon at this point that she may as well be, then Carla, and finally Firae! I can not draw fire =_=. Now to do Max, Maddi and potentially the twins, who knows.
