The are 1440X1920 digital drawings and sketches done over traditional Sketches, and The references were my own drawings of This OC and some minis.
Cozy sketch and a scene inspired by one of my written drafts of them.
(I want to post their lore all in comics so this may motivate me to start posting my drafts somewhere oop-)
Just some fluff.
I made this to explore their dynamic a bit, enjoy If ya wanna read 🙂↕️ I don't speak english as my first language so ignore any weird wording idk
The Hunt vessel hummed quietly in space, camouflaged with a blurred sillhoutte to hold both of them on a safe travel across space.
He allowed himself to rest after working on some equipment in his chambers, a big room with large spines and trophies addorning the architecture being lighted only by weak red lights from the ship.
Lur'kax layed down with closed eyes but sharp hearing, the "bed" of mattress of fur and warm hides just showed the image of someone who should be resting but quite never did it... Until-
Quiet steps, her. Insufferable woman, wandering around the cold corridors of his ship, making him open one of his eyes following the noise.
The heat pit hummed as he slowly sat, golden eyes searching for her "You wander alone." He clicked low.
The door was open, he saw no reason to keep it close. Her silhouette was there, wearing only an old white shirt with some undergarnments. Her face held a tired look but her eyes never foccused on anything in particular.
"Sorry, did I walk too loud?" she said, resting her shoulder against one of the door's arch, she huffed "Your 'maintance' was the one being too loud, Big Guy"
"Maintance is necessary" he states, eyes following the line of her before asking for permition. "Makes sure everything walks in line."
"Like I said, boring" Inari chuckles, leaving the door and starting walking in his room "three steps front" he instructed.
"Well, aren't you a gentleman?" She slowly walked until she felt him close. Lur'kax pushed his maintance table out of her way, only in his loincloth and the same necklaces of bones he showed so proudly, he was dressed for comfort.
Inari's hand brushed his arm, her shoulders dropped a bit in relieve "Do you ever rest?" She asks.
"My rest should not concern you" Lur'kax says, but there is no real edge in his tone "You should be resting." He stares calmly while sitting on the hides looking at her.
Inari moved, her blind eyes never really foccusing on him but her hands mapped the furs and him just enough for her to climb his bed.
“Always bossy, uh?” she murmurs, a small smile in her expression. Inari's hand hesitated for a heartbeat longer when she decided to move gently into his lap.
Lur'kax remains still at first, measuring her now on top of him with hovering hands. His mandibles click faintly "You sit on me?" he clicks calmly.
"You told me to rest." she mutters "I need to ask for permission to choose where I rest, Blooded?."
"Your choosing of places is... Bold." He stated, but far from denying physically any of the space she was taking from him.
She smiled quietly "Mhm, I'm making myself comfortable" Inari's weight pushed him back against the furs while her hand slid from his chest to hug his neck, denying any chance he could have of protesting properly.
One of his arms rested behind his head while his other hand hovered over her "Inari." Her name, already familiar in his mouth, his mandibles clicked faintly as he continued "Why are you lying on me?" He asked again, more firmly.
"Making sure you're still real..." she paused, trying to sound unbothered "...It gets weird when the sounds stops." her scarred eyes blinked while her head lifted up to meet his face.
"Quietness bothers you." He didn't ask, he knew enough. Blindness made Inari alert to sounds and paranoid to silence, even in a safe ship, the lack of noise could mean anything could already be there without presenting itself to her.
"Are you aware, that this implies dominance among my kind?" Lur'kax asked looking down at her.
"Hm, thankfully I'm not trying to spare you to sleep." Inari hummed unbothered while making herself comfortable on top of him "So be very still so I can sleep."
Lur'kax takes a deep breath for a moment, thinking with his hand still deciding what to do. She felt his chest moving under her, the stance of when he was thinking was loud for her.
"You act poorly even when tired." he sighed with his hand finally resting at the back of her black hair, holding her close to him.
"Big Guy, I act beautifully, specially when I'm tired." she corrected. Her head slowly made space in between his dreadlocks "Now be a good pillow and stop lecturing me.
(Ceridwen is my OC | Aldrin Grace/Reed Devil is Pearl Abyss‘)
„When Ceridwen got killed, something inside Aldrin finally shattered beyond repair. With her death, the last remnants of his hope and belief in goodness died as well. The unbearable grief of losing the life they had dreamed of together consumed him entirely, dragging him into a deep depression. Though consumed by thoughts of revenge and desperate to slaughter the Count, his father, and every person responsible for their suffering, he never lived long enough to fulfill it.
Only one year later, weakened by both his illness and the crushing weight of his sorrow, he died a lonely and agonizing death - filled with bitterness, rage, and hatred for the life that had been stolen from him. His soul was ultimately consumed by a demonic entity feared throughout the region as the Reed Devil.
The spirit relentlessly haunted his father, tormenting him night after night with visions, whispers, and death lurking within every shadow of his estate. What began as fear slowly drove the Count into madness as the horrors surrounding House Grace worsened with each passing season. And eventually, the Reed Devil claimed him too. With the Count’s death, his reign finally came to an end and house Grace was dragged into ruin by the very son the Count had once tried so desperately to erase.
After Aldrin became the Reed Devil, his spirit is believed to have found Ceridwen once more within the storm-covered reedwind fields where she was killed. There, beneath dark skies and the whispering of the reeds, the two were reunited in death just as they once swore they would be, haunting the lands together.“
This took me a century aa but I saw the ref (last slide) and simply had to draw them like this. 🙂↕️❤️🔥❤️🔥
