greetings! you can call me Git [he/him]. I post my art here + reblog stuff what inspire me.
I am a mixed media artist, I like trying different methods and techniques and mix them with each other as well.
my works are centered around my OCs and stories. more about them below the spoiler. I also have toyhouse to storage my art. you might or might not find something interesting there.

Selfdestroy is a story where anthropomorphic animals are trying to live in post-apocalyptic world. the story basically split in two halfs: first half is about Wolfram and his downfall and second is about Er and his will to fix everything.
Er is a reincarnation of Wolfram. but, also he is his own thing, with his own mind and views on Wolfram’s life and memories. he is also a part of the Divine Machine, the giant Mechanism Wolfram once destroyed.
I also have Sphinx/human ocs and their story is called Iron Sun. I don't want to go into details yet, since I am searching for the concept. but it takes place in a dying freezing world, where the only thing what helps people and Sphinxes survive is a heat from a mysterious Iron Sun. people and Shinxes are in a stage of a silent war, both species are in their decline, and don’t treat each other as "worthy of life”. most of my ocs are sphixes anyway ahah.
my stories is my way to vent in a way, so they often talk about heavy topics. but I am also more focused on character interactions and relationships in my art.

So a payment I thought had already gone through was delayed because of the holiday so they withdrew it today leaving me negative $123 I really need help to get out of that to avoid fees so anything helps
Negative balance cleared thank you all immensely!! I am still now basically where I started with $6 and not being oaid until the 5th, could use help to cover food but also my job is sending me to another office an hour away and mileage is retroactive so i need gas to keep going to work 🙏🧡
Sunday is my one and only day off this week would really like to have the funds to buy groceries and some essentials we desperately lack! It would mean a ton to me!!
sometimes artists worry if their art is actually capable of making the world a better place, or if its all just wasted effort. what you need to remember is: all art is evil, and the sole aspiration of the artist should be to maim as many onlookers as possible.
I really really want people to start understand "drawing" and "sharing" has absolutely different goal and purpose. I keep seeing people who are talking how they working at improving to get "bigger likes" or how they "draw more" to get "more attention" and I was here too and this is a straight way to burn out yourself out.
you create to make your idea real, be it a drawing, an animation, music and etc. your goal is to make this something inside your head exist in real world. you can also enjoy the process, or you can hate the process, but you keep trying because you want to see your idea alive.
and wanting attention, to be noticed, to get some validation is absolutely normal and I think natural for people? being upset about wanting more is very natural too. we are social creatures, we built like this. but you don't need to create better art or draw more art, you need a better strategy, or maybe something else, because sharing is a whole different skill and you can be an amazing artist but you can have very very low skill at sharing your art.
same with promotion what is a whole different skill when you do commissions. no it is not enough to just draw good and even have a lot o followers, because I know artist with big audience who struggle with thir business and people with a very very small audience who actually have a big queue of people who want to get an art from them.
when you see it as different skills it is much much more easier to improve and notice what is working for other people and what didn't work for you. I mean it is a journey and all you can is try different things and look if it work, if you enjoy this, if it is fun. sometimes mistakes are the best way to learn.
Animation I made as a tribute to Louis Wain, both to his art and him as a person, I hope my animations convey how comforting I find his art.
