RANGER
The ranger is a skilled tracker, hunter, and protector of the wilderness, embodying resilience, resourcefulness, and attunement to nature. They are wanderers who roam the untamed lands, forging a deep connection with the flora and fauna that inhabit them. Rangers possess keen senses and survival instincts, enabling them to navigate through rugged terrain and track their prey with precision. They are adept at archery, wielding bows and arrows with deadly accuracy, and often form bonds with animal companions who aid them in their quests. Beyond their prowess in combat, rangers serve as stewards of the natural world, defending it from threats both mundane and supernatural. Many rangers also possess mystical abilities, such as communing with spirits or harnessing elemental magic, further enhancing their affinity with the wild. In essence, the ranger is a guardian of the wilderness, embodying the enduring spirit of the untamed lands they call home.
I don’t necessarily think Sel would be a straight ranger. Some of the elements, such as tracking and archery proficiency, do suit her and she is resilient and resourceful as a character, but the wilderness aspects just aren’t her. At best, I think she’d be an urban ranger who picks up classes in rogue and fighter (heavy on the rogue) with a dual-wielding feat. Her canon skills are kind of a catch-all so multiclassing suits her better! That said, while she has the personality for a warlock, and would make a pact if pressed to it, I don’t really see it as on her radar.
