King is one of the bugs we made when writing the first draft of Reverie. He was a secondary antagonist that’d follow the Mc’s around and say ominous warnings from the shadows, now he’s more like a friendly neighbor that’s definitely killed somebody once but he’s retired so now he just does his hobbies all day and makes sure neighborhood kids are safe 😁👍

Squire is a very new development in the side character department, they're a froglet living in a sinking log turned castle (still sinking btw) that goes from obedient butler to renegade rogue after saving Dole from their own Kings dinner table

I'm still trying to figure out what thier personality is, I'm not sure if I should lean into the "I'm the real victim here" vibes or have them be genuinely conflicted by their past actions and present situation

Either way expect more are of them soon👍
