Fanfic mock-cover day!

This idea has been floating in my head for weeks and last night while chatting with a birb I finally decided to get it out so, here it is, could I go back to clean up the sketch lines? Should I? Probably. But I'm too tired and let's call it good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mock-cover for my first (probably only) Maul x OC fanfic, Await the Dawn.

Essential tropes: enemies to friends to lovers, slow burn (emotional), darth maul needs a hug AND therapy, angst, redemption, fix-it, character study, genre study. Content warning: smut, blood and lots of violence (not necessarily related to the previous warning 😂).

It's outlined and the crucial beats are written, but otherwise I will be updating with my usual speed 🐌 Under cut for close-ups.

Do I just really like designing covers for fanfic or am I procrastinating?
