Well ok....as i had promised, this is addwin's backstory:
As you know she come from the future and she is eddy's future daughter...but... who is her mom?? Well, i think if you know me and know who is my favorite ship, you know the answer: yes, double dee is her mother. Surprise surprise!!!!!.....but how??? And you ask me then: if you say she is not adopted and double d is not in addwin's future. And yes, both things are right but, that was a longggg process to she (addwin) born.
First of all, edd and eddy decided to addopt a child but due to eddy's brother récord (minor abuse, kidnapped, assault, etc etc) adoption was denied.
Despite they were sad, they kepr looking at options.
One of them was to try to insert a uterus (yes i know is weird). That wasn't an idea they were quick to accept. In fact, they have lots talks. They decided to see a doctor and after many tests, edd's body was the most acceptable. So (altough eddy did not agree) edd underwent studies. At first was all good, but edd's body denied the last tests. So, eddy decided that was enough and end it all.
And the last option (this is the part of the multiverse with cartoons) was a gender change. In my au, eds meet ppg and blossom and edd work together so she decides to help them with.
Fortunately this goes well and edd being a woman (and with a long treatment) they have a cute baby girl called addwin.
Everything goes well but.....eddy's brother appears and clases to know more about his niece. Eddy has a fight with him and he goes away but says that addwin will be his bane.
And well, when she is 13, she wants to know about all her family and her uncle and that was her first and last mistake....causing the imbalamce of time and space.
