☆ Eyoo! I'm Ro or Maggot! I've been an artist and animator for... too many years. I finally feel like my art is at a level where it’s at least good enough to post... or at the very least be enjoyed by niche communities. Always open to new art moots!

☆ My fursona (shown here) is a striped hyena-vampire bat-cat, his name is Gus, I’m working on a fursuit for him which I plan on posting when it’s done :D

What do I post here?:

→ This blog is for my art! At the moment I’m mostly posting personal experimental surrealist art featuring guys I call “Dog” but will occasionally dabble in fandom stuff too, furry stuff mostly (see my search for specific fandom tags)

→ I draw a lot of stuff I don’t post due to online paranoia because of my OCD (I work on a lot of personal OCs stuff <3) so please be patient with me as posting online takes a lot of confidence for me! I will often private art I’m no longer confident with.

→ I reblog art that inspires me but try to keep it to a minimum and on theme so it doesn’t clog up my personal work :-)

Missed my OCs but too tired to draw them but needed to look at them. So here they are. Picrew by hellosunnycore

Order: Julio, Gus, Arcadia, Anastasija

Julio dresses to deal with the equatorial climate. He has thanaka on his cheeks, and the scarf is the closest I could get to a sash. Trans man, he/him. Inspired by: Vietnam, Mexico

Gus also dresses to deal with the heat. The skirt is actually a wrapper skirt for when he's on his motorbike, which is often. His tattoos are supposed to be a bunch of eye motifs, and he usually has way more piercings. This worldbuilding was originally going to be fantasy so the eye tattoos were actual eyes and they were all purple, which is why he has purple eyes now. It doesn't make sense anymore but it's such a big part of his aesthetic that I'll just keep it. His anime main character swag. Cis man, he/they. Inspired by: India (Tamil Nadu), Madagascar, Somalia

Arcadia is a Law student. In my worldbuilding Uni students have uniforms but it is very lax. It is inspired by communist school uniforms, hence the red scarf. Arcadia is kind of goth so she wears a leather jacket and suffers for the fashion. Her headscarf isn't a hijab, it's just to keep her hair out of the way. Cis woman, she/they. Inspired by: Indonesia, Algeria, Iran

Anastasija helps her family run their grocery store. She is Muslim so she wears a hijab. She loves flowers and likes to make wreaths and flower crowns. Inspired by: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Albania

Wanted to draw something cute featuring my ocs Gus and Julio (both he/him). Obviously I need to practice my backgrounds more hehe. Julio likes to be a menace <3

I felt inspired about my OCs so here is one of the many situations with them involved. Enjoy some angst :’)

Situation # 2: I’m Sorry

Gus tries to convince Alek to not get away from him. Alek has had a lot with the situation of Gus liking him to the point of being afraid, but Gus notices that at the moment that they have a serious talk. Gus gets on his knees grabbing Alek's shirt begging him not to stay away from him, that his intention isn’t to harm him, on the contrary, he just wants Alek to be happy, protect him and be his friend, since at that moment he knows that he can’t receive the same feeling that he has towards Alek. Although this is not his surrender, Gus will continue struggling to win the love of Alek, slowly and respecting his space since he knows that the situation bothers him, but only asks him to look at him as a friend. He just wants to be at his side and make sure that he is well and happy, even if it means not being on his side as a couple. Gus is happy being just friends but being close.
