Ohhh hmhmhm

I have quite a few villain birds, but I'll only briefly talk about the ones in this image!

Perch (the one with black feathers on the left) - is a jealous piece of shit with daddy issues. He stuck with this ideology of being perfect and denouncing those who are weaker all the way from childhood, and though he can actually love people, his mind is still stuck on impressing his really dead father.

Varian (one eyed red and teal Glenfolk) - Caused a genocide.

Brambles - managed to eclipse the sun and bring panic to the glen. Proceeds to take power and manipulate others into doing his bidding, and once he found out the bird kids and the trader were plotting against him, he exhiled the three. He's not strong, but he can absolutely trick and deceive.

Felicity - serial killer, but only targeting people who came from the refuge to visit the Glen. If they do not respect the wildlife or the Glenfolk's boundaries, then she will step in!

In my world, magic is dangerous in untrained hands not because it'll take over your body (at least not mainly) or because you'll go mad for power (that's a mental thing not a magical thing) but because if you're not conditioned right and you try to use magic without a focus you'll blow/melt your hands off. It's rough. Magic is soooo freaking dangerous, and people still harness it and use it! It's a wild force, it doesn't belong to the people. Heal someone too much and they'll die (yet again from ultra cancer. too many cells growing too fast!) or in a really rare scenario grow plants out of them (survivable), if you use battle/destruction magic without a focus you can say bye bye to your hands, if you use too much blood magic you'll get too weak to do anything ever because it eats up your literal LIFEFORCE, etc etc. Reading the thoughts of someone who thinks in a divine/ancient language can make your head kinda implode (Speaking of which, one time Larceny, who is a student at WSHS, tried to see what Jimmy was thinking and the sheer amount of thoughts she was having (and in godspeak no less) overloaded the girl so bad she was out of commission for like two months. Larceny has learned not to snoop on people like that anymore).

My magic system is decently developed, so if anyone has questions go ahead pleasey please please! Even if I don't know, your questions will help me further.
