ok with help from the committee (my numerous siblings) i've managed to figure out that character design i was struggling with. in the light world she's a photometer and in the dark world she's a scientist who studies the light world. she's the shadow crystal boss of cathy's dark world

i'm still thinking about that body swap scenario. that would be so fun to draw, snails and cathy have such different body language. and there'd be a ton to explore with the differences between their respective umwelten.

probably they would get bodyswapped because dr lumine made some sort of device

vex: orange ragged/yellow malachite/sunshine eclipse, wind pastel

clair: spruce stitched/teal malachite/aqua circuit, arcane faceted

lumine: lavender wrought/peridot icing/radioactive circuit, wind swirl

cathy: moon piebald/dust mottle/robin blossom, ice glowing
