OMGGGG thank youuu that's my Rusty!! He's originally a character I came up with for a potential West Marches campaign, but i liked him so much he's just. my guy now. i based his design off the . fucking. O2 Bubl mascot and Ben from treasure planet . (i started at the top left and moved down). he has a lava lamp! in his chest!

He's been repairing and fixing himself with whatever scrap he can find so he's not in the best shape and is generally a bit mismatched. Rusty was supposed to be a placeholder name but I never came up with anything else so. better than buckethead though. my friend called him that at first. maybe I'll find something different eventually.

He's very enthusiastic about old ruins and civilizations, learning about them, uncovering secrets, and he'd do more than what most people consider Good in the pursuit of knowledge. Because of his excited, sometimes chatty nature he can outwardly come off as quite nice, and it's not like he's a horrible person, just that he's more private about what he actually thinks about others around him, and can be pretty rude sometimes. He's fully aware of how he comes across to people who don't know him and will use it to his advantage.

Dont think of the black parts as fur patterns as much as some sort of growth (thats why the overlap at the white parts is so spiky)

The orange yellow lineart is a strange glow in the story but ive done those since before i wrote the story

Shapeshifter that can be literally anything. I mean anything. Objects, plants, animals, humans, other people, characters from whatever, anything. I could mimic you almost exactly, even.

Base form is the one pictured above tho.

Can wear any outfit that doesnt have sleeves too hight above the wrist or pants too high above the ankles. They are uncomfy and icky to me. Can also wear gloves and whatever shoes. Prefer boots. Very rarely wears stereotypically feminine clothes (dresses n whatnot)

Very sharp teeths and tongue usually

Boba is a normal frog villager. her house is designed like a bubble tea cafe. her default catchphrase is “tapioca”

Thrash is a cranky goat villager. his house is full of rock n’ roll instruments. his default catchphrase is “GET IN THE PIT”

Rusty is the town janitor. you can find her cleaning up the town randomly when playing at night, and she shows up more frequently if you have a beautiful town ordinance. she’s gruff and pragmatic, but gets friendlier the more you talk to her. if you talk to her enough, she’ll give you discarded items she’s found, including some valuable and rare things
