Seastar facts bc why not!

Seastar spent the first 30 years of his life on a boat! The first time he ever set foot on land is when he arrived on the island.

Seastar is average. The island only chose him due to his isolation and hatred towards other dragons. He was desperate, had no ties to anyone, and that made him a perfect candidate to indoctrinate into worshipping the islands deity. (Which was a success)

Seastar was not a sweet dragon when he first arrived at the island. He was hurt, and bitter. Being an indentured servant since birth, paying off his own ransom when his parents never paid for his egg back. HOWEVER, he was also not used to being treated well. Erin’s unwavering kindness and persistence quickly grew on him. It made him open to socializing, and he soon grew to make many friends who he now sees as family.

He was fully converted to worshiping the island’s deity and it gave him a new outlook on his purpose. He is almost as devoted as Erin. He just has far more developed social skills and has sympathy for those who do not wish to be here. But his desire to stay here and obey the islands laws are unwavering. Unlike Erin, he doesn’t defend it or get offended on its behalf when other dragons voice their frustrations with being trapped there. He does not agree with all of the island’s choices.

Seastar was the 4th dragon to live on the island, so majority of its residents are unaware of his old mean attitude. He is seen as a fatherly figure, who is understanding and even tempered. He rarely gets angry, and is the unofficial leader due to how much trust everyone has in him.

Jovial, the mirror, struggled a lot when he first came to live on the island. He was unwell, and wild. Erin, being a bit socially awkward, mistakenly set him off with her positive comments about his situation. Seastar stepped in, loosing his eye in the process of protecting Erin. Erin is the island’s daughter and mouthpiece, violence against her results in an instant smiting-usually publicly to set an example. Seastar saved Jovial’s life, forgiving jovial and stopping the cycle there.

Seastar’s eye could’ve been saved, but the medic on the island is BAD. And amputated it thinking it wasn’t fixable. So… really he lost it from malpractice but none of them are aware of it lol.

Salos is experiencing strange body aches and tremors for unknown reasons! Spring fever? Or maybe a new illness has reached the island!
