Okay my new character“SLACKER” (it has to be all caps bc he’s a hacker you see)

- former corpo who worked in programming/computer science. He primarily helped develop security programs and find flaws and fix them.

- he was on the verge of a mental breakdown because of home life issues (all the best cowboys have daddy issues)

- he had a workplace rival that wanted him GONE and HUMILIATED and maybe some bizarre psycho sexual nonsense happening. But anyway, they set slacker up for a fall right as he was breaking down…

- he tried to kill himself and it didn’t work but everyone thought it did and he was registered dead. Jaded and pissed off, he stole money and fucked off somewhere else

- unbeknownst to him, his rival is like…. Drowning in guilt and grief over this lol

- he’s kind of laidback and chill, kind of a lazy genius archetype. He got away with a lot and ended up in higher ranks in his past job purely because he’s an attractive man (elf) and looks like he knows what he’s doing

- his matrix avatar is a low poly rat. He dyes his hair random colors (poorly) and he’s 6’4. He’s using his new freedom as a criminal to dress more fun, since he used to look like an average corpo wage slave, if only slightly more fashionable/attractive because Elf

SLACKER’s full look. He is a former corpo that accidentally faked his death, and now is discovering the joy of not being stuck in a professional office space and learning how to have fun… or something. Yay

1, 3, 9 for Slacker?

1 What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?  (And 3, How did you choose their name?)

His name was the first element. I know of slack, the communication platform, and I thought a like former corpo guy going by the name SLACKER would be fun. My fave career in the the sims 2 is also the slacker career, the final promotion is "professional party guest". I had the idea in my head for a while before actually making him.

9 Are they based off of you, in some way? 

Not reeeeeally. I mean there's always parts of you that get into your characters whether you want it to or not, but there's nothing really about him that I based on my own experiences.
