Little icons I've made for my art fight characters
Back at it again with Abby “Vulpes” Blisk and Ashley! Not really super new designs but different from before. Also sketches of good stuff. And Kane eating a book.
Two most recent pieces. Both based off draw your squad pieces. Beware the flying K(ane).
“You are a piece of shit and I can prove it mathematically.”
Vulpes, at some point probably
“Yes he was my father, and a damn good one at that.” Name: Abby “Vulpes” Blisk Faction(s): 64, Vinson Dynamics Occupation: scientist Personality: is actually the smartest person in the room with no mood except “please don’t bother me” (with the rare occasional hint of joy) (I’m so sorry, I meant to post this here I didn’t realize this went up on the wrong blog first)
Oc facts tattoos
Thought I’d make a thing about the tattoos my ocs have too.
Terra: Bat/demon wings on her back on her shoulder blades, a fox tail going up from her lower back ending halfway up her back, and a snake that wraps around her right bicep. The wings are for her acceptance about working for both sides, and when some people see that it’s like a demon that disguises itself as an angel. The tail is to represent her apex predator animal. The snake is because she thinks that’s her zodiac, but it’s an estimate.
Ashley: Swirls and a flower on her upper chest, below her collar bone and small angel wings on her shoulder blades. The swirls and flower is to show her flow through nature and its beauty. The angel wings is because she is one, but she had to be convinced of it before she even considered the tattoo.
Vulpes: A heart shape with a design of space on the inside above where her heart is. It’s to show her interest in discovering the secrets of the universe.
Accident
When you’re the daughter of a mercenary, you get caught in the crossfire of vengeance.
⚠️ some swearing and blood ⚠️
——————————
“Remember Dr. Scott, only 15 mg of the solution. No more, no less. The other 15 is to be added in 5 minutes.”
Vulpes hates working with incompetent people, but it had to be done. She was well aware her intelligence surpassed many others, but sometimes the true volumes of stupidity got to her sometimes. Especially in these experiments that used dangerous elements, mixtures, and compounds.
“Right, 15 mg.”
Dr. Scott was one of the few people whose lack of intelligence was not as unbearable as others, but he still made simple mistakes. But at least it wasn’t as bad as others.
“And now, we wait and observe.” Vulpes focused her full attention on the reaction. The slow reaction began. And, along with the reaction, Vulpes observed someone beginning to speak. It was Dr. Scott.
“You know, I used to have two little girls, myself. Best daughters a father could ever ask for.”
He appeared to be rambling, but it was still talking during an experiment, something Vulpes rarely tolerated. He kept going.
“Blisk and his team killed them in cold blood, you know. Took them about 10 minutes, I heard, do destroy my friends, my home, and my family. So, in return, I’m going to take from Blisk what he has taken from me.”
Vulpes was not very good at being able to understand hidden messages behind people’s words, but when he finished his sentence, something clicked. She slowly raised her head from her tablet she was writing on and looked at Dr. Scott. He was giving her a peaceful smile, the kind that shows that someone is content with their sins, and ready to die. She saw it just in time to see the rest of the solition be added. 16mg of it. Too much.
“STOP! DO NOT ADD THE SOLUTION-!”
—————————
When Vulpes awoke, there was the sound of fire, screaming, and the ringing that occurs after an explosion. It sounded like an alarm that she couldn’t shut off. Her body hurt, not as bad as it would have though, had she not had adrenaline rushing through her body.
She slowly sat up, bringing up one hand to her head, and it felt wet. So did her lips, which tasted metallic. Blood. Vulpes brought her left hand, the one not occupied with holding her head, to her mouth and looked the red liquid on her fingers when she took them away. It was a lot of blood, and it stung.
Then, the sound of someone grunting came from her right, where Dr. Scott once was. He was alive, but trapped under rubble. He coughed and spat out blood in order to speak.
“How the hell are you not dead?! That was supposed to kill you!” He began crying. “You little bitch, why do you get to live?! When my daughters could not?! Do have any idea how long it took to get this job?! And how annoyingly detailed you are?! It’s maddening!!!” His sobs turned into a delirious fit of laughter. “If god does exist, I hope he can give me the vengeance my daughters deserve!” And with that, he collapsed, dead, in a pool of his own blood.
It wasn’t the explosion, nor the dangerous situation, nor even the death in front of her that scared Vulpes the most. It was the dying promise of a dead man that disturbed her the most. Not even Kane seemed this crazy, even if he put on an act of insanity. It shook Vulpes to her core, and didn’t even notice the rescue team that came to rescue her.
——————————
In the hospital, Vulpes did not speak. She only suffered a minor concussion, some cuts and scrapes, and her right arm had a crack in the bone. But at least she had the comfort of her father and her friends with her in her room while she awaited her release, to keep her mind off the dead doctor. It would fade with time, but Vulpes now would not allow other people she didn’t know close to her until she could really trust them.
“When I first saw you, your eyes were dead and apathetic. Now, I can see a world of knowledge protected by the same eyes.” (So y’all can see what I wrote, because I don’t trust my hand writing.) Adoption lady: “so which one of our lovely children are you interested in?” Blisk: “this one, right here.” Adoption lady: “are you sure? That one’s been known to be a problem child.” Blisk: “then it’s better someone adopts her now rather than let her be an orphan forever.” The adoption of Abby Blisk.
