Been a while since I last sewed a plushie. This time I decided to make Wave, another of my Splatoon OCs who also happens to be the Agent 8 stand-in for my story line.

His outfit is a mix from Octo Expansion, with the earring and choker taken from the Side Order uniform. The crossed hip belts are what the holsters for his Glooga Dualies are housed on. But here I didn't add the holsters, so it's just the belt.

Wave is made from scrap fabric I had laying around from previous sewing projects like cosplays, etc. He's mainly put together with felt as the main body, some spandex-like fabric for his clothes and his tentacles are a stretchy velvet. His face was hand painted with the exception of an embroidered mouth, beauty mark and the cuts in his eyebrows. He even has laces on his Octoleet Boots, and the yellow bands can be removed and reattached.

As with my previous plushies, the base pattern I used here is by dollphinwing. The tentacles are my own drafted pattern.

I am getting better at plush sewing with each one I make, as well as levelling up my overall sewing skills. I'm more confident with hand sewing smaller parts than when I first began.
