i feel as though this is an important thing to take note of when it comes to emmi: shes a tragic backstory for shelby. shelby had a sort of friend who always talked about how much the academy sucked, and then one day just sort of. vanished. and she never attended her classes and she actively avoided people, so no one knew who she was, let alone where she went.

shes sort of like. shelby wasn't always alone in the witch academy. she had someone. but that someone was completely alone, and is sort of like. just an npc to give her information she needs to continue on in life? storywise
