I had the privilege to commission @KowalskiArt for my Lya, and she did the most amazing job
Abomination.
The word floats in her mind as aether dances at her fingertips. She hears the whispers, feels the insistent stares. She knows what they think when they see her.
Abomination.
She wasn't supposed to wield black magic; her father certainly tried to beat the dark art out of her. But she does wield it, and by the Gods, does she like it. She likes the power it gives her; she likes watching the land die when aether is drained out of it. It fills her with joy to see the ground around her covered in cracks, a twisted reflection of the scars on her back.
Abomination.
She doesn't know if she controls the magic, or if she's just its vessel, but she doesn't care. She needs the world to suffer like she does, even if that makes her an abomination.
