Ink Pen is the last on the roster that changed significantly. I wanted to make it more obvious that she has a horse motif, hence I changed the shape of her hooves, and made the ink tail have to same shade as her clip to make it more reminiscent of horse mains. Also, one of his genders is lustrellaic, which relates to golden ink, so I thought it’d be fitting. In fact, I simplified their cap in general and made the end of their clip rounder to match the form of their ink tail. The final big change was adding diamond patterns on his limbs, mostly because it relates to his desire for elegance and luxury. I also made her eyes white instead of gold since I thought gold was already everywhere on her design.
Most of Nautical Shell’s design like most was about simplification. I made them wear less bracelets, removed the shading on their shell pattern, and lessened the details of their headscarf. I also made the dark brown even darker and more red to give it a brighter pop of color. Another big change was changing the x on her left eye into a swirl, mostly to separate her look from Thread Pool’s.
Cassette Tape changed the least. The only thing I really did significantly was simplified the fire design on their skates and made the inside flame on said skates a bit more yellowish.
