After nearly a decade of causing harm to and problems for others, Doc meets a brutal end in the very hell they created. Once their blood reaches the Godflesh it will rip them apart and that will be that. Perhaps a part of them always knew it would end this way.
On the other hand, it does not affect Thrip, since she is technically not a living thing and incapable of bleeding. She does seem to have a noticeable effect on it, though...
