baba lore time, when I was designing it I was inspired by a distant barely visually coherent memory of playing the first dark souls where I ran into a minor boss creature- which is why baba originally had “minor boss creature” on his bio on TH
I also haven’t actually named him, baba is one of the things people call him in his canon, along with stuff like (all ‘the’) fiend, creature and abomination. Even if I do give it a name I’m probably still going to call it baba
I haven’t seen the boss creature since I played it that time, it was an optional fight iirc and he frustrated me so much I decided to just not fight it anymore. Which is kind of the same experience I imagine people have with baba lol
