Omg how did Porter and Marlon’s first meeting go
It would be a LOT to draw so I'll just tell you and hopefully you enjoy the story!
It definitely wasn't a "love at first sight" kind of thing, but they met at tryouts!
Early in the circus's developement, basically as soon as Clement knew he wanted to start a circus, he got Porter on the line. They knew eachother from way back, and Porter was pretty desperate to leave his job. Clement held tryouts in the area to get some talent on board before they set everything up.
Marlon was one of the cats who tried out, and Porters reaction was more like "Ugh. This guy" as Marlon blew a kiss to the judges stand.
Its more fair to say that Porter had to get used to Marlon. He seemed so dramatic and unnecessarily friendly. Marlon was pretty smitten from the get-go, but it doesn't take him much. Porter was not even aware he may be bisexual until he started to develope feelings, and it still took him a long time to accept that that was how he felt.
Their story is still being developed, but there is a song I really like by Kaden Mackay called "Your Stupid Face" that I want to loosely base them on if you want a sneak peak into what I'm working up. It's slow burn, romantic type stuff. ❤️💙💛
