Pluto is a spindly adult who's struggling to connect with themself and the world around them. But they have no problem reconnecting with their ex-girlfriend, Bianca, who was always their rock in a raging sea. After high school, the two just drifted apart, Bianca's drive becoming overwhelming for Pluto as they struggled to come to terms with their newfound adulthood and the responsibilities that came with it. Bianca just seemed to have everything figured out in a time Pluto didn't, and they couldn't carry on feeling like they were holding her back. But now they're back and ready to try again.

Bianca is strong and confident, the complete opposite of Pluto. She had everything figured out by the time she could speak. Sure there was rearranging here and there but her quest was linear and she was on her way to beat it. After high school, however, her world fell apart. Her mother died and her father became distant. She found it hard to get excited about things that normally she couldn't shut up about. It was difficult. Eventually she got a job at a local diner, an excuse to get out of the house. It was there she reconnected with Pluto and felt like maybe something could go right again.
