I made this tiny TINY Fern about 2 weeks or so ago, and I fully intend to remake it digitally but tumblr gets premium access to my sketchbook doodles so here, have a wip of my favorite he/they <3

OH YOU WANT THE GOODS I SEE
Very valid and also longer than I expected, so under the cut we go-
9. What is their main love language? (gifts, quality time, acts of service, physical touch, words of affirmation)
For Fern it's quality time 100%. They love just hanging out with people, going places and seeing the sights and doing things, but their favorite thing to do with the people they love is just chill. Sitting down and enjoying eachother's company is the most Tiger Lily experience ever, and they have a Calming Aura y'know? Being with them in any regard is quite relaxing, especially if it's in a chill place where you can just vibe with them - and for someone who's as comfortable being on their own as Fern is, them wanting to spend time with someone else speaks volumes :)

18. Where do they see themself in ten years?
Hopefully alive, but other than that he can't really say. Gheist doesn't like thinking about the future too much, it stresses him out a lil bit. He prefers focusing in the present, one day at a time. Helps him stay grounded, helps keep his brain for coming up with bad thoughts.
But if he had to answer, he'd like to be living by the beach. Hopefully with Tari, hopefully with all 5 of his cats still alive and healthy, hopefully a little more stable and with a healthy coping mechanism, hopefully with all the friends he's made over the years still by his side. I'd say he has really good chances at that future :)
16. How do other characters in the story view them?
Oh with Urutau I'd say it's a mix of awe and fear, but mostly awe.
Tau is a dark troll first of all. Dark trolls are incredibly rare to see above ground, much less during the day, but Tau was raised by jungle trolls and lives their life as they do. That means living on the surface and going out in daylight, where everyone can take a good look at them - and with how much they like bright colors and fancy outfits, it's not like they're trying to blend in either.
And for the most part, Tau likes the attention! The little dramatic bastard that they are, they like having eyes on them and they like being the cause for wonder in people, it does wonders for their ego. Most of the time. Going to Zandalar for the first time and being stopped every 2 steps by someone different asking them all sorts of questions was a bit too much for their liking.
The fear comes from the people that met them under less pleasant circumstances. Tau is somewhat of a bard nowadays, but they're also a rogue, and they're a fantastic rogue. Their main job is bounty hunting, not as much nowadays as it used to be but they have a reputation for being very quick and efficient at murder. And intimidation. For someone who can't talk they sure are good at making threats people listen to.
That being said Urutau is a mess, and the people who really know them know this. Tari, Zabre and Corina mostly. Tau is anxious, they struggle with a surprisingly low self esteem, they have a tendency for overthinking... Connie thinks it's hilarious that there are people out there who really are scared of them, because the Tau she sees when they're alone is just a very big noodle who turns bright red when she tells them she loves them and who makes heart shaped pancakes for her evey morning. Tau is just a dork. An anxious dork who can play the role of confident bastard very well.
Their dramatic streak is 100% natural tho. They like the theatrics :)

19. If they had a theme song, what would it be?
Tari's theme song is Toes, by Glass Animals (my beloveds).
The rhythm, the build up, the lyrics... I said the other day that Your Love was the most Tari song ever, but I lied. This is THE Zantari experience

Urutau's theme song is Masquerade, by Lindsey Stirling.
This is a song without lyrics, so the choice is made purely on Vibes. And BOY are the vibes strong in this one - it's dramatic, it's intense, it's involving and it's a touch melancholic, everything Tau themself is.
Plus, a masquerade fits them quite well - under a carefully built confident and self assured mask, Tau is a mess... but at least they have a pretty mask, or so they tell themself.

Corina's theme song is the absolute banger that is Whitney Houston's I Wanna Dance with Somebody.
Less the wanting someone part, though that also counts, much much more the energic and upbeat rhythm of the song and the happy warm feelings it gives me. Connie's is a huge romantic, and also incredibly warm and cheerful and full of life... she's my lil sunshine :)

Last but not least, Fern's theme song is I Got Love, by Mother Mother.
Fern is an odd case of someone who's alone.... but not lonely. They have no family to speak of, they've been facing the world alone for most of their life they went through a lot with no one else to fall back on, but they're not lonely. In fact, Tiger Fern is so incredibly at peace in their own body and their own company that sometimes it feels as though they need no one else.
Which is ironic, considering Fern is the most loving creature in the universe. He loves the world he lives in, loves the people that live in it, he loves the good and the bad and the beauty and the ugly alike. He's 9 feet tall of pure and shameless love, for themself and for everything around them. And I think that's beautiful :)

16. How do other characters in the story view them?
Okay now, Lilibear. There's many different bears out in the multiverse, but they all receive generally the same response from the people around her.
Boo is scary. She's too big and she smiles too wide with teeth that are too sharp, she doesn't blink and she stares at people REALLY intensely. And to top it off she's outspoken and brash and she's imposing, she's a presence that makes herself known and impossible to ignore. Plus, she's not "normal". No matter the universe, Lilibear is not standard anything.
In summary, Lilibear is unsettling. And that doesn't exactly lessen when you get to know her, but it sure is something you can get used to of you spend enough time around her.
And if you do, you'll learn that Lilibear is incredibly passionate, determined, confident and patient. Qualities that she's more than willing to use to guide others, if they ask for it nicely.
And that earnestness to help usually knocks some scary points off her chart.
8. What is their coping mechanism?
Gheist used to drink pretty often, which was eventually cut off by the joint effort of Tari, Caiena (my Revantusk priest whom Gheist grew uo with). Nowadays he tries to be a little gentler with himself when he's having bad days, so he tries his hardest to avoid things that could hurt him or make hims sick... and because that used to be all his old coping mehtods, he currently doesn't have a set one. He's tried a handful of different things before, some helped more than others but he hasn't found one that really stuck yet. Currently he's been trying journaling and it's been a mostly postive thing - it's not perfect, but he's willing to try.
Tiger Lily (white) and Mansori (blue), my precious dumb druid bois. Lily is a feral and Manso is a guardian, they share one braincell and all it does is scream nonsense all day long :D
