✯ Like in TSS / SSO, he was in hibernation for.. Seven generations? Though he calls it isolation. He asked for help from Professor Red, since he knows the professor was the only one capable of isolating him from everything.
✯ He used to be allergic to fish, quite literally he almost died to Void feeding him fish. This was before he became Rainbow Steve.
✯ He used a fraction of his magic to create a crystal for the others to use.
✯ Previous Rainbow Steves had a motif/ theme to them. The last one was mainly ore based, but this one is more weather focused, hence the clouds in his design.
✯ Speaking of clouds, I did this because of the common occurrence of Refraction of light from rain droplets that can create rainbows in the sky. Also the reason why I made the last rainbow steve ore based was because of the same thing, though just with gemstones and crystals rather than falling water drops.
✯ Rainbow Steves are.. Unfortunately kinda op in APoR, they are everything and nothing at the same time. Every bit of life, every chromatic, every biome, every ore steve and alex there is, he has a fraction of that running both through his blood, and his magic. Kinda like the Avatar.
✯ He mostly wears light weight & loose clothing, since he used to love running around and didn't like heat. Why does he wear black pants though? Design, I needed a contrast.
✯ His hair is mostly made of clouds, so he could shape it however he wanted without it disappearing from any attempts.
✯ Since he is everything and nothing, he has no identity, no personality, nothing, because he is everything, so it cancels anything that can give him an identity of his own. This was.. Unfortunate for him, when he isolated himself, the existence of Rainbow Steves started to fade, only being known as a rumor that somewhere, someplace... There lies a steve that can reshape all of stevekind, some saying that Steve can reshape all of life itself.
✯ .. Even before isolation, he had forgotten who he was, since being a Rainbow Steve can slowly erase one's own self reflection, so he can't remember what steve type he was, who his friends were, who his old enemies were, who his family was.. All he knew, was that he existed, and that existence had a purpose. What purpose? He forgot.
✯ The clouds on his body move with time, gliding around his skin like real clouds, shifting as they moved. They can also change depending on the weather conditions. If it was sunny for example, no clouds in the sky, that would be the same for his markings, even his hair would be shorter. If it was storming, then clouds would make up about 90% of his skin, and his hair would be out of control. It isn't dependent on his emotions...
✯ The pod he is in, resembles an egg within the womb. When he's eventually freed, the egg's shell(?) shrinks and melts into his skin.. This is supposed to sort of resemble birth and/or rebirth of new life...
Im still working on the design and might tweak some stuff down the road. She has bat wings but I dont know if I should add them to the full design or if it would be too much. Well Im just gonna make lil fun comics with her and the crew cuz why not🤷♀️
For some info shes like a bat hybrid. Also, misd matched socks cuz I tend to wear them a lot. (The one on the left is a crying child reference. If ykyk) For anyone wondering Im Czech and I proud RAHHHH🍺🍺🇨🇿🇨🇿
