Ohhh yes they do!!
This is Nate and Astra! Nate becomes a reaper sometimes after Roxy's been one a while. He was from her first marriage and he was raised by his grandparents after she died. His memories of his mom came flooding back to him after he became a reaper (the memories of reapers get erased from mortal's minds permanently UNLESS the mortal is chosen to also be a reaper, then they remember when they become a reaper. In Nate's case he didn't remember his mom while he was alive, but when he died he remembered her and he was a little salty she went straight to hospice and didn't fight her cancer head on. However they reconcile and they're very close now.) Nate died at 24 of a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Didn't even see it coming.
Astra is a rare case, when two reapers have a child, the child is born mortal in Purgatory and age like a normal human. Astra ages throughout the story but sadly dies and takes up the family business of being a reaper at age 20 when she crashes her dad's car on her way to a party. This is her in her reaper form.
And then ofc the family dog! No he's so much more than a dog heheh this is Sirius! He was adopted by Oreo as a pup before he got with Roxy. He's a hellhound and was raised by Oreo. Hellhounds are a species of demons in hell that are technically considered lower class but also very powerful and sentient beings that can shift between a human like form and dog form. They're a type of demonic animal. Sirius' magic isn't all that great yet so his 'human' form isn't very human. He's more of a werewolf if anything lol
And that's the Ackerman family!! <3 I love them so much they're a good group of people and Oreo finally has what he's always wanted; a good family ;; He swore he'd never be like his pos dad and he never is!!! He's a good man!!!
