just started reading the new update of OCAC and I couldn't help but notice at the way reader was hostile towards cara at the start and there is an air of annoyance describing her lmao was it annoying for you to have to write cara after everything with *ina? because the character was def ruined for me after it

I was always going to have her be annoyed with Cara in the sense of flipping the script because a lot of docs have her love Cara and hate on Omera and we don't do that here.

I tried, I really tried to be impartial but as you can tell, I couldn't do it. The walking puke stain that is g*na has permanently ruined a Character that I was obsessed with my first go around.

I really think Grogu was on to something when he tried to force choke Cara so I might expand on that and what that meant.

Do I also want reader to take the rifle and do the famous "come to mama" line? You bet I fucking do, because that's what I would do/want.

I mean I can always bring frog lady in a whole season early and she can replace Cara in all of her scenes...

Hi there!! Just wanted to let you know that I thoroughly binge-read OCAC in two days and just...wow.

I always skipped over any fics with an Alpha!Din but a chapter yours popped up on The Mandalorian tags and the preview (not the first chapter) had me hooked.

I'm so happy I was around in time to read Chapter 20 and now I can't waaiiittt to read what's next!

Hey lovely, I'm so glad you're here. I have always skipped over A/B/O fics for very obvious reason and typical r*pe culture supportive story telling but there is so much untapped potential there. You know the old fic saying, if it doesn't exist I'll make it myself? Well that is how OCAC was born in that I wanted to make an ABO fic that everyone could enjoy. A real powerful power couple.

Honestly, I’m really glad Din finally called y/n out on her bullshit. Poor man had been patiently shelving his personal feelings this whole time and she had been taking that for granite.

Had she though? I don't think so.

The amount of responses I get along these lines concerns me sometimes. I feel like I have to defend her/my thought process behind her actions.

Let's look at it this way.

He is still very much a stranger to her. She has no family anymore and lost her home. No friends. No worldly possessions. No money. A fiercely independent and self sufficient woman is now almost entirely reliant on this man she just met. A lot of times "bullshit" is often a mask for fear and insecurities.

Plus, I know it's hard to forget that he looks like Pedro and we know him as a character pretty well. She doesn't. All she knows is that he wears the same "creed" as her father--her abuser. That is not easy to deal with.

Remove everything you know about Din and empathize with the idea of someone coming up to you and saying, "congrats, here is this guy who you don't know and you have to go with him and possibly be his lover/partner. And oh yeah, you don't get to see his face."

I feel like we all would have some issues with that and would have a need to loudly voice our opinions.

Love at first sight doesn't happen for everyone. Love takes patience, communication, compassion, and hard work. ❤️
