occult: year one winter summary ★

With a little help from Runa Sage, both Rowan’s lycanthropy and vampirism were cured! Now that he no longer has to sit under a UV light constantly and shower frequently all day and night, he has time to get back to mastering skills, like Body and Logic. He’s also able to be out in the sunshine with Cameron and friends. The two of them have become best friends with Runa Sage!

Zetta, on the other hand, has been asked to move in with Chloe Hex. At first, she was a bit hesitant, but it seems like everyone is ready to move forward with their lives now that they’re adjusted to life in Witch Hollow. It’s going to be hard breaking away from their strange little family, but spring is a time for change and growth.

And so concludes this season’s supernatural bonanza! In an attempt to cure his PlantSim-ism, Rowan had Chloe Hex turn him into a werewolf. Unsatisfied with the results of his transformation, he experimented on Cameron by also turning him into a werewolf. It seems that hybridization can’t be escaped, though, as both parties simply retained their original forms alongside their werewolf forms. In a last-ditch effort to escape his green nature, Rowan provoked Zetta into making him a vampire. All of his efforts were in vain, though, and now he must deal with the conflicting nature of his conditions until a cure can be made. 

Outside of supernatural shenanigans, Zetta mastered creativity and charisma, and Rowan mastered cleaning and dug up three treasure chests.

On this episode of Homosexual Household Supreme™, Rowan asked Chloe Hex to consider turning him into a werewolf. Zetta, although being a bit weirded out by the situation, supported her friend in his quest be turned by the woman she’s in love with. Zetta also mastered the body skill, and Rowan mastered the creativity skill and found himself at the top of the Music and Dance hobby.

I didn’t think I’d end up getting as attached to this family as I did. Between Zetta’s “rivaly” and Cam and Rowan being the peaceful dads, I had a lot of fun (even if the rotation was pretty short). Overall, I’m satisfied with how everything turned out! After a short lived rivalry, a mutual crush developed between Zetta and Chloe Hex. Cameron turned his attention to gardening and painting, and Rowan spent his days treasure hunting and his nights studying. He mastered charisma and cleaning.
