Occupy Parliament Square

I've been a little inactive on Tumblr lately, but I really believe that it's important to continue speaking about the things the media blacks out. Ask yourself this... Do you really want to live in a society where real democracy fails to exist, where it is deemed acceptable for the police to grab peaceful protesters by the throat over a piece of tarpaulin keeping their bums dry, and where arrests are made for cutting a piece of string? It all sounds pretty ridiculous, right? Except that's exactly what has been happening this past few days down at Parliament Square in London, where protesters are currently occupying the space and trying to hold discussions and share ideas about how we can encourage change as a community.

Regardless of how you identify politically, I'm sure we can all agree that it is important that we protect people's right to have a say in how our country is run. Do everything you can, because you can either choose to stand up and be part of the solution or stand back and be part of the problem.

Take to social media, take to the streets, speak out anywhere you can about the things that you believe should be discussed because if the people don't then who will?
